Stock30 Privacy Statement
Stock30 is committed to protecting your right to privacy as a user of our online stock footage library. It is our policy to respect the privacy of private communication.
The information you provide to us will be held for Stock30 on servers based in the UK, and except as explained below, we will not transfer it or authorise its transfer outside the UK.
We collect information about our subscribers in order to help us continually improve our service and so that we can enter into commercial arrangements. Stock30 will always adhere to UK Data Protection Legislation, which from 25 May 2018 includes EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
Other than as stated below, we do not hold or use any information you provide or which we collect outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), nor do we transfer it to or share it with others within or outside the EEA (except when we believe in good faith that the law requires it).
This Privacy Statement only relates to the Stock30 site and does not extend to your use of the Internet outside of the Stock30 site.

What data do we collect?
We will collect personal data as provided to us during the subscription purchase process, which you agree to supply us as accurate. This will consist of:
- Contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address and telephone number
- Billing Information such as credit card number and billing address
- Unique Identifiers such as user name, account number and password
What do we use your data for?
As is true of most websites, we automatically gather information about your computer such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages and operating system. We use this information to:
- Process your subscription application effectively
- Send you email confirmations
- Administer your account
- Send you an occasional newsletter or marketing email
Our use of your personal data is limited to that which is reasonably required in order to provide our service to you and to make improvements to it. We do not use your personal data for any reasons not stated in this Privacy Statement and never use it in an excessive manner that is disproportionate to our aims of providing and improving our service or in a way that is contrary to your interests.
In addition, when you purchase a subscription from us, your personal data is necessary for the formation of the contract between you and Stock30 and the completion of your purchase.
You may choose to stop receiving our newsletters or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe option included in these emails or by contacting us at hello@stock30.com.
How long do we keep your personal data?
The personal data you provide when registering with Stock30 is retained until you ask us to delete it. If you wish to delete your account, you can do so by contacting us at hello@stock30.com.
Download histories are retained indefinitely. However, when an account is deleted, this information cannot be used to identify you. All personally identifying information is deleted immediately on your request.
How do we store or transfer your personal data?
We only store your personal data in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR. We will not sell your personal information, nor share it with any third party. We will only ever disclose your personal information if:
- It is required by law such to comply with a legal process
- We believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
- If Stock30 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets
Cookie and other tracking technologies
We do not monitor your use of the Internet, but we do use cookie technology to monitor your use of Stock30. This information is not stored alongside your personal data and will only be used on an anonymous, aggregated basis. We may process your personal data in combination with the footage downloaded in order to maintain and improve the facilities we offer and to send you alerts about important updates to the library’s content.
Security
The security of your personal information is very important to us. We follow widely accepted industry standards to protect the personal information you submit to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, it’s worth noting that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Thus, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Payments you make to Stock30 are processed using our financial services partner Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
